Today we have started our new topic about being a journalist finding out about world war 2. Mr Bate told us to chose carefully a person who we would work well with ( people who are a good influence on the other person). The topic was about world war 2 like ’The Blitz, evacuees, during and after ww2 and how it made people feel.

This week in half term there was hallowean and some of us got some sweets but some of us got a trick instead of a treat. This year their were fancy costumes from dead dancers to evil devils and even the zombie brides got to threw their boukays. I wonder who this dead groom is? Did you hear about Rachel geting thown out of the X factor and the twin got through again when will they get thrown out.

In our getting aroud the world prodject we are making brochures to show are parents tomorrow. They are fabulous and very colourful when we had gone over them in black pen.

This is a picture of people salsa dancing it was really fun we had a hard time choosing partners. It helped us really well with the spanish project. It was funny when we did the mackerina we kept going the oposite way to each other ha ha ha.

We’ve been making our advert about Ibiza in Spain it is turning out to be great fun. Mr Bate has been giving us helpful tips and helping us to improve our adverts and descriptions.
This is one of the beautiful, tranquel beaches in Ibiza . Wouldn’t you like to be here right now than be at home doing all of the hosework by yourself ? ( with only £499 per person. What a bargin!)

Yesterday in maths Miss. Emson’s maths set did vertical methods to add. MR bates maths set we did grid multiplcation.

Yesterday we started our brochures and we had a suppily teacher in called Mrs.Airs. We had to fold our peices of paper into 3 or 4 folds. Then we had to desgin were all of the information would go. After that we went to assembly.

Yesterday Mr.Bate was off school with a bad back so we joined Miss.Emson’s class. It wasnt such a big class because the rest of the class was at PGL and they came back last night between 5-7 pm. We did maths in the morning and we did magimixers which is were you shake a funny shaped dice holder and the two black ones will be your number that you have to try make with the numbers around the side. In ICT we did a bit more to our travel agency video then after that we went on the field to learn how to do a bullyof with miss Emson. Then we went to assembly

Last Friday the PGL people went to Shropshire and there wasnt many of us left in both classes. We had circle time were we played fruit bowl which is were you are either a apple, banana or an orange and there was fruit bowl which every one would sprint to a diffrent chair. In the afternoon we did tag rugby, french and getting on around the world. In tag rugby we got split into two groups red and yellow. Yellow team won with 7 points and red had 3 points. In French we made a cook-oo which is a peice of paper folded lots of times and looks like a chicken. In getting on around the world we looked at trying to plan a tea party for 6 people with a buget of £10.
